For 30 years Sanderoof has provided roofing solutions for numerous blue chip and public sector organizations with most projects being completed on time, on budget and with quality of service that ensures total customer satisfaction. Over the last 12 months or so we have completed the following roofing assignments.

Amec Offices, Salford Quays, Manchester. 1200m2 - Trocal SGMA and Styrazone insulation was used in this complex project to lift and reinstate several ballasted roofs and all associated air conditioning units and pipework. The offices remained occupied throughout and Amec were able to continue their office operations without a day’s disruption.

Manchester Airport Terminal 1 arrivals. 700m2 - The steelwork stubs were left protruding through the slab for construction of a future extra floor in this Icopal Sureweld and PUR insulation project. The vast quantity of rooftop plant, pipework and ducting brought out the intricate detailing on this ballasted roof.

Tesco, Selby 1000m2 - Single ply refurbishment was used to bring this roof up to date within a tight programme to enable continuous trading of the store.

Morrisons Supermarket, Chester 1500m2 - We rewaterproofed the roof over the warehouse and main supermarket using Trocal ‘s’ membrane, again the supermarket was fully operational throughout and the project was completed on time, safely and entirely within the original fixed budget.

Bolton Hospital Maternity Ward 900m2 - Special noise considerations were the key to this project as we successfully rewaterproofed the roof over this sensitive unit using built up elastomeric felt.

Halton Lodge School, Runcorn. 1500m2 - Special consideration was given to the aesthetic element of the roof in this new build project. The large curved rear roof was waterproofed using a Trocal ‘s’ membrane augmented with a standing seam effect to provide the illusion of a zinc cladded roof but at a fraction of the cost.
- New apartments Piercy St, Manchester. 700m2 - In this city centre project we installed Icopal’s green roof system on several block of apartments. We surprised ourselves by returning to site several months after completion and discovering that the sedum turf had flowered and the roof was a mass of small colourful flowers!
- Medlock School, Manchester. 1000m2 - Icopal Sureweld single ply and Thermazone cut to falls insulation was used to refurbish this school roof. The works were carried out during term time and our safety arrangements ensured that the works could be carried out with minimal disruption and complete safety to the pupils and teachers within.
- United Utilities, WM Morrison Supermarkets, Tesco Stores, BBC, Department of Work and Pensions, GM Police, National Grid, Pennine Acute NHS Trust, Arndale Centre, Manchester University - Planned roofworks and responsive repairs during/after rain.
